Classes & Schedule
We offer a diverse range of classes to suit every need and energy level. Our signature Vinyasa Flow classes are dynamic and fluid, synchronizing breath with movement. For those seeking a detoxifying experience, our Hot Yoga sessions take place in a heated room (95-100°F) to promote deep stretching and sweating. We also offer dedicated Meditation & Breathwork sessions for mental clarity, as well as specialized Prenatal Yoga for expectant mothers. Check our schedule for specific times and levels.
Yes, we highly recommend booking your class in advance, especially for popular times like early mornings and evenings. Our classes can fill up quickly due to our intimate studio setting, which ensures you get the personal attention you deserve. You can easily book through our website or by giving us a call. Walk-ins are welcome only if there is space available at the time of the class.
Absolutely! We welcome beginners with open arms. Our studio is a judgment-free zone where everyone starts somewhere. We recommend trying our "Gentle Flow" or any of our dedicated beginner-friendly Vinyasa sessions. If you feel unsure about jumping into a full class, we also offer workshops specifically designed for those new to the mat. Remember, yoga is not about touching your toes—it's about what you learn on the way down.
The primary difference is the temperature. Our Hot Yoga classes are held in a room heated to approximately 95-100°F (35-38°C), which helps warm up the muscles for deeper stretching and promotes detoxification through sweating. Non-heated classes (Vinyasa, Meditation) are held at a comfortable room temperature. The heated classes tend to be more vigorous and cardiovascular, while non-heated classes focus more on alignment, balance, and breath.
What to Bring & Studio Policies
Please bring a yoga mat (we have high-quality mats available for rent or purchase if you forget yours), a towel (highly recommended for Hot Yoga), and water. We provide yoga blocks and straps for your use, so you don't need to bring those. We also have changing rooms and showers, so you can freshen up before or after your class.
We understand that life happens. However, to respect our teachers and other students, we ask that you cancel or reschedule at least 12 hours before your scheduled class. Late cancellations will be charged the full class fee. We also ask that you arrive at least 5 minutes early to settle in. The studio door is locked precisely at class start time to maintain the peaceful atmosphere.
Yes. We are located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. There is metered street parking available on East Capitol Street, as well as several public parking garages within a short walking distance. We are also easily accessible by metro (Stadium-Armory station is a short walk away).
We recommend having a light meal at least 1-2 hours before your practice. For vigorous classes like Hot Yoga, an empty stomach is usually more comfortable. However, don't starve yourself! A small snack like a banana or a granola bar 30 minutes prior is fine. Hydration is key, so drink plenty of water throughout the day.
